Mount And Blade Meet Spy
So you've read about an epic quest line that lets you visit Meereen? Awesome, right? I think so too!
But the forums, reddit, basically everywhere, is flooding with misinformation, ridiculous rumors and just plain wish-thinking. And I get PM'ed with questions I can't answer because of this. I can't answer them because they're often far-fetched, and more importantly, often based on some rumor, like Daenerys invading Westeros (she doesn't) or being able to join the Night's Watch (you can't).
Follow spy: This is a quest given by a lord of a friendly faction. You must have at least one hero that is level 15+ in your party. You will be asked to follow a spy who is trying to meet with his accomplices and, preferably, capture them both. Capturing only one of them will complete the mission, but anger the person who gave you the quest. Apr 02, 2015 Mount & Blade: Warband General Discussions Topic Details.-Apr 2, 2015 @ 3:22pm I can't find the spy. (Viking Conquest) I've got a quest from the king of Norway to meet a spy in Aileach, but I cannot seem to find this spy. Would this be the 'meet my spy in insert town name here' quest where you have to talk to the right peasant who. Ser Barristan Selmy, also called Barristan the Bold, is a knight from House Selmy and the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard of Robert I Baratheon.9 A celebrated hero, he has served in the Kingsguard since a time when these knights were still considered to be the greatest of the Seven Kingdoms. Barristan becomes a POV character in A Dance with Dragons.
Due to the limitations of the Warband engine, code, you get the deal, there are some things I simply cannot accomplish - either due to it being impossible, me not knowing how to do it, or because I simply cannot be bothered.
An example of something impossible would be dragons, and Daenerys is just no fun without dragons.
However, that does not mean I cannot craft some (at least I think so) pretty fun quests, that lets you interact with some of the fringe events of Westeros.
There is currently twenty quests in A Clash of Kings, and the following is a brief explanation of how they work, plus a list of where they can be obtained and what they're named:
What is basically true for all the quests is that you have to activate them before you can talk to the actual quest giver. An example could be the quest Terror in the Cairn. You get the quest from Goodman Tom, in the tavern in The Weeping Town, but the NPC that spawns Goodman Tom is named Septon Garibald (he's in the Weeping Tower lords hall), and you have to talk to him first. Once you talk to him, he'll explain where to find Goodman Tom, and once the dialogue ends, Goodman Tom will spawn in the tavern. This is why, and I cannot stress this enough, you HAVE to read the quest text. I will not respond to questions that could have been solved by reading the dialogue.
Anyhow, here's the full list of quests and where they can be activated.
